This is a weekly series on exercise that will give you the biggest bang for your exercise buck in and out of the gym. Today’s exercise is all band supported leg lowering.

You should do this because– it helps to relieve hamstring tightness and tension and improve the movement in the hips. This can benefit you in and out of the gym.

Makes your everyday life easier because– hamstrings and hips can get ‘tight’ due to sitting to much and this exercise will help undo some of this.
Form tip – Watch the video. Keep low back in neutral and breath out while lowering leg to the floor and breath in as you bring the leg back up. Do 10 reps on each leg.
